METTLER TOLEDO Highlights Integrated Food-Safety Inspection Systems at EATS 2025

METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection Group will showcase a comprehensive portfolio of inspection technologies at EATS 2025 (formerly Process Expo), scheduled for 28–30 October at McCormick Place in Chicago. The company will exhibit at booth 2500.
The display will include new and updated systems designed to help food and beverage processors bolster product quality, maintain regulatory compliance and enhance production efficiency.
Among the highlights:
-
A bulk-flow x-ray inspection system, capable of detecting contaminants such as glass, stone, bone and rubber to support earlier identification of risk and protect downstream equipment.
-
The M34R metal detector, which features dual-simultaneous-frequency (DSF) technology to improve sensitivity by up to 25 % and reduce false rejects. The unit will be illustrated mounted on a stainless-steel, wash-down-capable conveyor tailored for meat and protein applications.
-
The CX combination system integrating check-weighing, vision inspection, metal detection and x-ray in one platform to enable flexible configurations.
-
The V31 vision inspection system, which will inspect bakery products for consistency and verify labels (including 1D/2D codes and closures).
-
The X32 x-ray system, suited for small- to medium-sized packaged goods, and the X52 dual-energy x-ray system, which will be demonstrated inspecting fresh pet food on a live production line.
All of the showcased equipment supports the company’s ProdX data-management software, which enables remote monitoring, centralised data capture and analysis to help manufacturers streamline production and reinforce product-safety programmes.
