A prosperous 2016 and many happy returns on our website!
It is already the middle of December and, sitting back for a second to catch my breath, I find it hard to believe how and where almost eight months have gone. 2016 is impatiently awaiting to commence, and we all hope that shall happen in the best of ways. But before that occurs, do allow me to say a few words about 2015, which was – and mind you, still is – a very special period of time for me.
Earlier this year, at the beginning of April, I was first introduced to the business world of potato growing, storing or processing. Not much later after that, I found myself writing about it. And being supposed to do it online as well has helped me to make a smoother transition to my new position.
However, writing about tubers was indeed a novelty for me, but I was not the only one innovating. So were the publications I had become Editor of, thanks to launch of the new – and significantly better, if I may – digital version of the PotatoBusiness Digital, a magazine developed using the EPUB format. By doing so, it became the first standardized digital magazine for tablets and mobile phones in the industry.

The potatobusiness.com website has too become an important part of my work duties, being the day-to-day means for us to provide relevant and fresh news to everyone wanting to stay up-to-date with the latest information in the potato industry, but also through newsletters or with the help of social media channels such as our facebook or twitter accounts.
But enough about my work. Let me now go back to the idea I had left unfinished at the beginning of this text and wish you a great end of 2015 and an even better 2016!
