DUG Potato Drink Has Now a German Online Market Presence Thanks to Velivery

Velivery, the largest and most comprehensive vegan internet store in Germany, will begin selling DUG. Beginning in September 2023, the three variations of the plant-based potato drink will be offered.
Veg of Lund keeps growing internationally. Germany comes next behind other top retailing nations in Europe and Asia like Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, and Japan.
“The demand from German consumers has been made clear to us via various channels and contacts and it is great to finally be able to meet this demand via Velivery. Velivery is Germany’s largest online shopping destination for vegan food serving both consumers and professional kitchens. Entering the market with an online partner will both create visibility and association that enable us to continue building a business in the German market over time,” Fredrik Carling, CEO of Veg of Lund, mentioned.
Stephan Scherer, Product Manager at Velivery, added that milk substitutes are extremely popular with Velivery and the company already offers a broad range of alternative products in that field.
“With the DUG products we are going to launch a potato-based novelty which surely will interest our customers a lot”, Scherer declared.
To provide markets in northern Europe, Veg of Lund manufactures its products at a contract plant in northern Germany.
“With Velivery, we are following our strategy of launching with leading, quality players who position Veg of Lund’s products as part of the next generation of plant-based foods. With a successful launch, there are conditions for additional orders,” Carling concluded.
