Ex-Mondelez Exec Takes Supply Chain Reins at Lamb Weston

Frozen potato giant Lamb Weston has appointed Gerardo Scheufler as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer. He will replace Rick Martin who will be retiring from his role effective August 12, 2019.
Scheufler brings more than 25 years of supply chain experience to this role. Most recently he was Vice President of Global Operations at Mondelez International Inc., where he oversaw a major global restructuring program to optimize the global supply chain footprint, including the manufacturing, customer service, quality, logistics, health, safety and environment, and innovation functions. Prior to his role at Mondelez, he spent more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.
“Scheufler will be a great addition to Lamb Weston and our executive team. The depth and breadth of his experience leading global supply chain organizations will be an asset to the company as we make progress against our strategic plan. Martin has been a tremendous asset to this company over the last 25 years, and I am especially grateful for his leadership through the last three years as we transitioned into a stand-alone public company. We wish him well in his retirement,” said Tom Werner, CEO Lamb Weston.
