From Bushel Plus To BranValt: Canadian AgTech Firm Signals Next Phase Of Growth

Bushel Plus Ltd., a Canada-based agricultural technology company specializing in harvest optimization, will rebrand as BranValt from July 2026, marking a strategic shift as the business positions itself for its next phase of global growth.
The company said the new name reflects its evolution from a niche provider of harvest loss measurement tools into a broader supplier of integrated solutions designed to help farmers protect yields, improve efficiency, and maximize value at harvest. Founded in Brandon, Manitoba, Bushel Plus now operates in 45 countries.
“Our business has grown well beyond where we started. What started as a basement hobby is now trusted in 45 different countries worldwide,” said Marcel Kringe, Founder and CEO. “BranValt reflects who we are today – a global company with an expanding portfolio – and where we’re headed as we continue innovating advanced solutions that help farmers protect their harvest and profitability.”
Under the BranValt name, the company will continue to market its existing product portfolio, including the SmartPan® System, MAD Concaves™, and the MiniCombine™, alongside Harvest Academy™, its training and education programme for farmers and agricultural equipment professionals. The company said consolidating these offerings under a single global brand is intended to simplify recognition and adoption across markets.
According to Kringe, the rebrand does not signal a change in strategy or operations. “Our commitment to delivering quality experiences, technical excellence, continuous innovation, and farmer success remains stronger than ever,” he said. “The same experienced team will continue to stand behind the products, partnerships, and customer support that farmers and dealers rely on.”
The BranValt name combines a reference to Brandon, Manitoba, with a broader agricultural symbolism. The company said “Bran” reflects strength and protection, while “Valt,” inspired by the word vault, represents safeguarding value at harvest.
Bushel Plus will begin rolling out the BranValt name across selected products, packaging, communications, and industry events from early 2026, with the full transition scheduled for completion by July. “This rebrand strengthens our position as we scale globally,” Kringe said. “It also guides us for continued innovation and long-term leadership in harvest optimization while keeping our focus exactly where it belongs – protecting farmers’ harvests.”
