Making Potato Growing Future-proof at HZPC Potato Days 2022
“Inspire and connect with a global live event” is the recent HZPC invitation to their three days event, both online and offline.
“Our Potato Days are dedicated to the future of the potato. A future in which the potato provides an important contribution to the food security in the world and helps to combat climate change. Potato professionals from over 90 countries joined the conversation in our virtual studio or one of our local offices. HZPC Keeps you growing. We’re counting down the days: only two weeks left until Potato Days 2022. Let’s learn from each other and discuss how to build a better tomorrow. No time to waste,” the company’s event organizers recently wrote on their website.
HZPC’s pre-event statement identified as the ‘dream for the future’ is to develop responsible food for the world population.
“We believe that our knowledge can help contribute to world food security. Day in, and day out, we work on creating new and better varieties that grow under any circumstances and in any climate. A healthy planet is of great importance here. Natural resources must be respected and protected. By continuing to innovate, we ensure that we can contribute to this. Together with you, we are making potato growing future-proof,” the company’s representatives concluded.
The online event starts on 9 November at 5.30 PM. The offline event will take place on 10-11 November at HZPC Joure.
