The Next Generation of Haith’s Rota-tip, Available at 2021 British Potato Show

According to a Haith recent press release, visitors to this year’s British Potato Show will be the first to see the next generation of the Rota-tip class-leading box tippler.
The Rota-tip PRO, which has had a patent application granted, will take center stage on Haith’s stand on 24 and 25 November 2021.
The innovative machinery features all-electric drives and a new mechanism to allow it to take potato boxes of varying heights, which will be clamped to ensure they’re secure and that the contents are not spilled during the process.
Haith has also added a powered rotation lid to the new Rota-tip PRO. In previous models, the web lid is fixed, but in the latest version, the lid extends just before the tipping process starts.
To make transportation easier, the new Rota-tip PRO has a narrower footprint than previous models. The 300mm difference means that the new Rota-tip PRO takes up less space, making it ideal for small packhouses and facilities.
Haith’s strategic partners GRIMME will also have a strong presence on the stand as both companies make their first appearance at British Potatoes Show since formalizing their working relationship.
“As well as our team, who will be able to talk to people about our class-leading range of vegetable handling solutions, we will have members of the GRIMME sales team with us as part of our strategic working relationship,” says Duane Hill, Haith’s managing director. “And, just like previous shows, visitors to our stand are guaranteed a warm welcome, and we will be treating them to some of Yorkshire’s finest food and drink as normal!”
Once every two years, the whole of the potato industry comes together for a unique ‘seed to shopping trolley’ event. BP2021 is a trade show and talks for all those growing and supplying to the potato sector. Staged in Harrogate alongside the National Potato Industry Awards, BP2021 will take place on 24-25 November.
