U.S. Potato Industry Gears Up for Potato Expo 2026 as Registration Opens

Registration is now open for Potato Expo 2026, the largest annual conference and trade show for the North American potato industry, organized by the National Potato Council (NPC). The event will take place from January 6–8, 2026, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, bringing together growers, processors, researchers, and suppliers from across the supply chain.
According to the NPC, Potato Expo remains the key annual platform for knowledge exchange and business development within the U.S. potato industry. Attendees can expect to connect face-to-face with leading producers, agribusinesses, and technology providers while exploring the latest developments in production, processing, sustainability, and market trends. Early-bird registration opened on September 15, 2025, and remains available until November 7.
The 2026 edition will feature the signature “Potato Talks,” short 20-minute sessions followed by audience Q&A, alongside panel discussions and presentations on topics ranging from research and technology to consumer insights and trade. The program also includes networking receptions, lunches, and the large Expo Hall where exhibitors will present new equipment, tools, and services for the industry.
Affiliate meetings organized by partner associations will take place alongside the main event, while the NPC’s official schedule includes breakout sessions, receptions, and innovation-focused discussions designed to support the sector’s continued growth. Delegates attending the full three-day program will have access to all educational and networking opportunities included in the All-Access pass.
The NPC advises participants to book accommodations early through the official event website to secure rooms at the Gaylord Texan Resort and to avoid unofficial housing offers. Registration and detailed program information are available at nationalpotatocouncil.org.
