Burger King Expands Snack Line
US based Inventure Group has developed three new flavours to be sold as part of Burger King’s snack chips line.
The popular fast food chain’s snack line, which was launched in 2007, will now include the varieties, Hot Fries, Cheese Fries and Hot & Spicy Onion Rings.
Established flavours include Ketchup & Fries, Flame Broiled Chips, Original Onion Rings and French Toast Sticks.
“Our Burger King snacks are really taking off in part because we’re able to play off the Burger King brand’s popular and well-known menu,” said Steve Sklar, senior vice-president of marketing for The Inventure Group, Inc. “We’re able to bring Inventure’s snack innovation into the equation and together we’re creating snack foods that are way outside the traditional ‘chip’ landscape, and consumers are gravitating toward them in a big way.”
The new products are available in serving sizes ranging from 0.75-oz to 3-oz, and cost between 99c and $1.99.
