Natural Grocers Launches Non-GMO Peruvian Chip Line Across U.S. Stores

Natural Grocers, the largest family-operated organic and natural grocery retailer in the U.S., has added a new snack offering to its private label lineup: three varieties of non-GMO Peruvian chips. Available now in all Natural Grocers stores, the chips are made with high-quality, plant-based ingredients and reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability and clean-label products.
Sourced directly from Peru—the historic origin of the potato and a leader in biodiversity preservation—the new chips include:
-
Sea Salt Sweet Potato Chips
-
Sea Salt Kettle Potato Chips
-
Sea Salt Cassava Chips
All varieties are vegan-friendly, kosher, and free from artificial flavorings, additives, preservatives, and synthetic colors. Each 5 oz bag retails at $3.49 under the retailer’s “Always Affordable” pricing model.
Peru’s long-standing moratorium on GMOs, in place since 2011, ensures that these snacks are cultivated without genetic modification, aligning with Natural Grocers’ strict sourcing standards.
“At Natural Grocers, we believe that every snack should be as delicious as it is thoughtfully sourced,” said Raquel Isely, Vice President of Marketing. “Our new non-GMO Peruvian chips offer a satisfying crunch and naturally bold flavor, without compromising on quality or values.”
The chip launch builds on Natural Grocers’ expanding private-label portfolio, which was established in 2016 and now includes more than 800 exclusive products. Recent additions also feature organic frozen mussels and organic coconut water, with new body care items set to launch ahead of Mother’s Day.
This latest product introduction underscores the retailer’s strategy to deliver premium, responsibly sourced goods at accessible prices for health-conscious consumers across the country.
