Three New Potato Chip Flavors in Lay’s Lineup
To celebrate Lay’s partnership with NBC’s “The Voice,” PepsiCo has recently introduced three new chip flavors. Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeño, Lay’s Poppables® Sea Salt & Vinegar, and Lay’s Kettle Cooked Flamin’ Hot® all joined Lay’s lineup earlier this year, and the brand is also re-introducing Lay’s Crispy Taco and Lay’s Wavy Fried Green Tomato chip flavors, available for a limited time only.
Frito-Lay describes the crispy taco flavor as “a fiesta all in one bite,” while the fried green tomato flavor is just like the iconic Southern dish, but with some extra crunch.
The fried green tomato and crispy taco flavors were finalists in “Lay’s Do Us A Flavor” contest in 2017 where Ellen Sarem of San Antonio, Texas took home the USD1m prize for the Crispy Taco recipe.
