Find 2015 opportunities at Potato Expo, starting in USA

Potato Expo, one of the biggest fair trades in the USA, starts Wednesday, with over 150 exhibitors registered for this edition.
In addition to North American attendees, Potato Expo is increasingly attracting attendees from South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
In 2015, the Rosen Shingle Creek venue will provide Potato Expo exhibitors with more than 60,000 square feet of floor space, in which attendees will be able to discover the products and services to grow their businesses, network with others in the industry and enjoy refreshments.
Potato Expo offers educational programming covering the top issues facing the potato industry, provides networking opportunities with key decision makers, and showcases the latest products and services for potato production, storage, and distribution.
This edition of Potato Expo has something for every member of the domestic and international potato industry supply chain, including: growers, shippers, processors, retailers, suppliers of equipment, packaging, technology, transportation, foodservice operators and distributors, consultants, trade press, brokers.
Themes and speakers
The opening session of the conference program is on “Six Things You Need to Know about Potato Export Opportunities in the New Global Supermarket” – Matthew Tripodi, Government & Trade Relations Manager, Euromonitor International, to be held on January 7.
During the general session on January 8, Kelly McDonald, Multicultural Marketing and Business Trends Expert, will explain “How to Market to People Who Are Not Like You: The New Market Segmentation”.
One of the highlights of the expo stage session, January 8, includes presentations on “Managing Diseases with Biopesticides in Potato Production” and “What’s New in the Development of Biologics and Biopesticides”, held by Amanda Gevens, PhD, Assistant Professor and Extension Plant Pathologist, University of Wisconsin.
Chris Wallace, Veteran Journalist and Host of Fox News Sunday, will speak on “An Insider’s Look at Politics, the White House, and the Future of America”.
John Stenderup, Manager, Western Growers Transportation Program, C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. will offer insights to“The Future of Truck Transportation”.
On January 9, Mark Lynas, Author and Advisor on Climate Change, Biotechnology, and Nuclear Power, will speak on “Climate Change, Nuclear Power, and GMO … What Does Science Tell Us?”.
“Big Trends in Agriculture: What Ag Will Look Like in 2045” – is the theme for the closing session, held by Jim Carroll, Agricultural Futurist, Trends, and Innovation Expert.
A novelty for 2015 is the breakout sectors which includes four time slots synchronized to allow attendees to move between the Chip, Fresh, Process, and Seed Breakouts as desired and select their preferred topic or speaker during each time block.
