Conn’s Will Start Manufacturing Snack Foods Under the Mikesell’s brand

Conn’s Potato Chip Co, Inc. recently revealed that a license for the brand rights for Mikesell’s snack food items has been acquired by a subsidiary of the company.
Conn’s will start manufacturing snack foods under the Mikesell’s brand from its Zanesville, Ohio, facilities and will try to swiftly replenish store shelf space, particularly for goods like potato chips and puffcorn.
“Conn’s is excited about this opportunity. The licensing agreement will allow us to use the decades-old recipes and traditions of Mikesell’s to continue to deliver the quality snack food products consumers have come to expect and enjoy, especially the loyal fans of Mikesell’s products. This opportunity is a perfect fit with our processes and regional presence. Distribution will be provided by independent operators in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and consumers will soon be able to make online purchases,” Jonathan George, owner/president of Conn’s, wrote in a recent press release.
