Kronen: Automatic and Hygienic Wash, Cut, or Peel Vegetables

Once again, attendees of the Anuga FoodTec 2024 trade exhibition, which takes place from March 19 to 22, may see innovations and innovative products in action and real-time at the Kronen stand. Launched in 2023, the HEWA 3800 washing machine constantly, efficiently, and resource-efficiently washes vegetables and other food items while setting new benchmarks in sanitary design.
“Here at Kronen, we are defined by our commitment to continuously learning, making progress, and being innovative. We consider our company to be a think tank for ideas that supply innovative, made-to-measure solutions to benefit the food processing industry. At the Anuga Foodtec, we showcase solutions that incorporate the latest state-of-the-art developments in the areas of hygienic design and automation. For more than 40 years, our close contact with the worlds of industry and research, as well as with groups of experts such as the EHEDG, have been helping us to optimize our solutions based on the latest findings in the fields of technology and hygiene,” Stephan Zillgith, Managing Director of Kronen, mentioned.
Hygienic Washing: Based on State-of-the-art Developments
Hygiene and ease of cleaning have been enhanced for the HEWA 3800 HELICAL vegetable and food washing machine. Maximum cleanliness is also ensured by the design idea. For instance, the machine’s complete lack of horizontal surfaces allows the water to drain as efficiently as possible. Additionally, every edge is made to prevent the growth of biofilm. By doing this, the chance of contamination and cross-contamination is reduced. Another crucial factor is having efficient access to all of the machine’s important components. Making sure the equipment can be fully and efficiently cleaned in a time-saving manner is the primary goal. The HEWA 3800 may be taken apart completely to accomplish this.
The washing machine may be used for continuous, gentle, and efficient pre-washing, washing, disinfecting, mixing, treatment, and rinsing, much like its predecessor, the GEWA 3800 PLUS. If it fills itself, like in a processing line, there is no need for operational staff. Processes up to 2,500 kg of product per hour with the HEWA 3800.
Kronen will exhibit further novelties and well-known machinery at the Anuga Foodtec trade exhibition in Cologne, Germany. The company will also present these machines in full product-processing operation. Some of the goods that Kronen will be showcasing are as follows: New products include the KUJ-HC 220 and KUJ-V cube, strip and slice cutting machines, PL 40K potato peeling machine, FLEX M packaging machine, Tona V cutting machine, and other machinery.
“Visit us at the Anuga Foodtec: Hall 10.1, Stand G-008,” the company’s representatives concluded.
