Continuous Process Solutions Launches Steel Belt Training to Support Uptime Improvements

Continuous Process Solutions (CPS) has introduced a steel-belt training programme aimed at reducing unplanned stoppages and strengthening the technical capability of production teams across continuous process industries. The initiative targets manufacturers in food, chemicals, wax, wood-based panels, pharmaceuticals and rubber, where steel conveyor belts form critical components of high-volume lines.
The programme focuses on helping engineering, maintenance and production personnel identify early-stage belt wear, misalignment and other performance deviations that typically precede mechanical failures. CPS positions the training as a route to more predictable operations, lower maintenance expenditure and extended asset life.
Jarrod Hunt, Managing Director of Continuous Process Solutions, said: “Many production issues begin as small, unnoticed changes in belt condition or equipment performance. When teams understand what to look for and how to respond, they can prevent problems well before they interrupt production. Our training is designed to give managers confidence that their staff have the right skills to keep lines running efficiently, safely and consistently.”
Participants receive instruction on belt types and selection, tracking and tensioning, cleaning systems, preventative maintenance, inspection routines and integration with upstream and downstream process equipment. Training is delivered on-site, combining theory with practical demonstrations such as belt inspections, cleaning procedures and tracking adjustments. Supporting documentation is provided to reinforce maintenance standards and embed routine checks into daily operations.
CPS, which has operated for more than two decades in the UK and Ireland, supplies steel belts and related equipment, installation and maintenance services, and technical guidance for producers using continuous processing technologies.
