Patate-Saint-Ambroise Merges with Québec Parmentier

Patate-Saint-Ambroise and its subsidiaries, Emballage Saint-Ambroise and Légupro, have announced their merger with Quebec Parmentier. The latter will therefore hold the assets of the two regional agrifood companies specializing in the packaging and processing of potatoes and the processing of vegetables.
Patate-Saint-Ambroise president Mathieu Bouchard said in a press release that “the desire for growth, the need to increase its production and packaging capacities and the synergies that will be generated by combining our activities have all been factors in the decision to bring together our companies ”.
In addition to this merger, Québec Parmentier announces that three other producers from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean are joining the organization. These are the Rodrigue Rivard et fils Farm in Saint-Ambroise, the HP Gagnon Farm in Laterrière and the Bilodeau Farm in Métabetchouan.
“The integration of these new producers confirms that the business model and the values advocated by the organization meet the interests of potato producers in Quebec. We have at heart the prosperity of the families who are part of the organization and that was one of the main reasons for the creation of Quebec Parmentier, “said Quebec Parmentier’s CEO, Pierre Chouinard.
