Schur Will Have the Agency for Ishida in Denmark
As of January 23, 2025, Schur will hold the agency for Ishida in Denmark. Given that both businesses are family-owned and market leaders, the new partnership has great promise.
The Danish family-run packaging business Schur was established in 1846. It is currently run by the sixth generation and has a global presence. Schur specializes in automation, marking, labels, and packaging.
Established in 1893 in Japan, Ishida is currently the world’s top provider of weighing and quality control equipment, and it is run by the fifth generation of the Ishida family.
Over the years, Schur and Ishida have worked together to develop a range of automation solutions for joint clients. The two companies have also shared presentations at trade exhibitions. Nevertheless, the two businesses are now prepared to advance their partnership.

Despite being rooted in two different cultures, the two companies share many of the same values and view on business conduct as both companies are family-owned through many generations.

The Ishida agency will be managed by Schur Automation a/s, with expertise in automated packing solutions, logistics, marking, and QC equipment.
