Simplot Names Jas Krdzalic as AgriBusiness VP, Business Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Jas Krdzalic has been appointed Vice President, Business Optimization & Continuous Improvement for J.R. Simplot Company’s AgriBusiness Group. Krdzalic will join the company on February 24.
Krdzalic will report directly to Simplot AgriBusiness President G. Rey Reinhardt and be a member of the company’s Leadership Team.

His experience will serve us well in our continued efforts in operating as a customer-centric organization, rooted in phosphate expertise while using technology and innovation to help feed the world,” Reinhardt said.
Before joining Simplot, Krdzalic was General Manager, of Digital Marketplace at Albertsons Companies, where he led the creation of their market strategy roadmap and played a key role in the launch of a new digital commerce platform. He formerly oversaw the company’s C-level executive team as CEO of Bodybuilding.com and Vitalize LLC, an online fitness platform and e-commerce company. Before that, Krdzalic was also Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Business Operations at Micron Technology, where he oversaw the creation of strategic business planning procedures and business unit M&A operations.

A native of Bosnia, Krdzalic spent the latter years of his childhood in Idaho and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Finance from the University of Idaho as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwest Nazarene University. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Salt Lake City Branch where he provided industry insights to the Central Bank leadership that helped influence monetary policy and impact the US national economy.
