Haith to Showcase Next-Generation Handling Solutions at British Potato 2025

One of UK’s leading manufacturer of vegetable handling systems, Haith Group, is preparing to welcome visitors to its stand at the upcoming British Potato Show 2025, held on 19–20 November at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate.
A Silver Sponsor of the event, Haith will exhibit several key innovations, including the SupaFill 600 Pro box filler, the Horizontal Debris Remover, and its latest mobile washing system. The company promises visitors “a warm Yorkshire welcome” alongside a look at some of its most advanced handling technologies.
New Generation Box Filler
The SupaFill 600 Pro succeeds Haith’s award-winning SupaFill 600 and remains one of the highest-capacity twin box fillers available, capable of filling up to 60 boxes per hour. It features a central distribution conveyor that feeds two outer filling conveyors, ensuring crops are gently layered into boxes.
The system accommodates multiple box sizes, offers variable speed control, and integrates a new positive drive mechanism for lowering and retracting filling heads. Operators can manage all functions via a remote HMI touchscreen, which provides access to both manual and automatic box-filling modes, box height selection, lifetime and batch counting, and maintenance scheduling.
Debris Removal Innovation
Making its debut at British Potato 2025, Haith’s Horizontal Debris Remover introduces a new approach to pre-wash cleaning efficiency. The system removes soil, stones and haulm before washing or grading by transporting potatoes along a heavy-duty rubber belt fitted with soft pintle fingers. A counter-rotating roller gently transfers the crop to a discharge chute while unwanted material drops beneath the belt and exits through a waste chute. The adjustable roller gap allows operators to control debris size and cleaning intensity.
Mobile Washing System Upgrade
On its outdoor stand (OS3), Haith will display the latest version of its mobile washing system, first introduced in 1979. Originally designed to help farmers deliver clean samples to crisp and chip processors, the system has since evolved with new technologies that reduce water usage and energy consumption.
The modern Haith Mobile Washer is towable by tractor or HGV and incorporates automatic sludge and waste removal, stone separation, and high-efficiency motors. It features a unique shaft sealing system for longer service life, with all bearings mounted externally for easier maintenance. A single HMI interface provides full operational control, and optional CCTV monitoring offers real-time visibility of crop flow from the inspection cabin.
Industry Presence
“British Potato is the premier event for the UK potato industry, and we’re excited to be part of it,” said Duane Hill, Managing Director of Haith Group. “We are looking forward to seeing customers, partners and suppliers, and everyone visiting our stand is assured a warm Yorkshire welcome. As well as our hospitality, we are eager to present our latest handling solutions and share our plans for the future, which will allow potato growers, packers and processors to work more efficiently and effectively.”
