At this year’s SnackEx, Ishida will underline its global leadership in complete snacks packing solutions with the world’s only single-source fully integrated snacks packing system, that combines maximum packing line efficiency and reliability with a minimum product and film waste.

The Ishida Inspira iTPS weighing and packing system will be demonstrated with an integrated Ishida TSC-RS-120R seal tester, providing fast and accurate weighing and bagging and a comprehensive seal integrity check.

The combination demonstrates Ishida’s ability to deliver wall-to-wall fully automated solutions that offer significant operational efficiencies. This enables snack manufacturers to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality products and packaging.

The Ishida Inspira iTPS features the world’s fastest, most accurate, and most efficient multihead weigher, the Ishida RV, together with Ishida’s Inspira rotary bagmaker that offers optimized levels of performance and pack quality. The system delivers almost zero giveaway and greater than 99% efficiency at speeds of up to 200 bags per minute (bpm) for extruded snacks and up to 150 bpm for potato chips.

Ishida’s TSC-RS Seal Checker is able to identify leaks in bagged snacks at speeds of up to 200 bpm. It can detect small holes down to 3mm in diameter on bag sizes up to 80mm thick and 300mm wide.
