Kronen Showcases Its New Hewa 3800 Washing Machine at Fruit Logistica 2023

At the Fruit Logistica 2023 trade show, stand B-21 in the new Hall 1.1, Kronen GmbH will showcase a variety of new products and tried-and-true methods for processing fruit and vegetables.
The machine maker will display items including its brand-new Hewa 3800 Helical washing machine, which has been enhanced for hygienic and quick cleaning.
Even still, only a small portion of Kronen’s new products will be revealed in the weeks leading up to the trade show, which is even another reason to stop by its booth.
Kronen will also give live presentations of its equipment and solutions at this year’s Fruit Logistica while it is processing actual products. These will consist of both fresh goods and tried-and-true equipment for processing lettuce, fruit, and vegetables. The Kronen stand will be managed by a global team of representatives, just like before the pandemic.
“Although the last Fruit Logistica wasn’t all that long ago, we already have a wide variety of new products ready to be presented: from a complete system to a manual tabletop device. In addition to the upgraded washing machine and innovative line, a multitude of other new developments are ready and waiting to be discovered: all will be revealed at the event venue on the first day of the trade show! Our stand at Fruit Logistica is therefore definitely well worth a visit,” explains the company’s Managing Partner, Stephan Zillgith, explained.
Optimized in Terms of Hygiene and Cleaning: A Continuous Washing Machine
The Gewa 3800 Plus washing machine has been improved upon by the Hewa 3800 Helical. It is now more hygienic and requires less time to clean. The device is used to continuously pre-wash, wash, disinfect, mix, treat, and rinse the lettuce, fruit, and vegetables, just like the Gewa 3800 Plus.
The Hewa 3800 processes up to 2,500 kilograms per hour. The machine can be completely dismantled for rapid and thorough cleaning. The design concept also ensures maximum hygiene, for example, the fact that the machine has no horizontal surfaces whatsoever, thus allowing the water to discharge optimally.
Additionally, all edges are created to prevent the growth of biofilm. Aisi 304 stainless steel is used to construct the vibration motors, all pipelines, the pump casing, the wash and pump tanks, the covers, and the switch cabinet.
