Interpack 2014 Preview: New Event Introduced
Components for processing and packaging have a new section dedicated to suppliers at Interpack, which is extending the breadth of industry coverage with the new feature.
Components for processing and packaging will be featured for the first time at Interpack in Germany this May 8-10.
Suppliers in the packaging industry will be showcasing their latest products next door to the fair organised at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition grounds. The trade fair is targeted at companies specialising in motors and drive technology, control and sensor technology, products for machine vision, handling technology, industrial software and communication, and complete automation systems for packaging machines.

It is also directed at manufacturers of machine parts, components, accessories and peripheral equipment and of components
and auxiliaries for packaging means. The initiative to bring exhibitors and suppliers together within the event was welcomed by Interpack’s Advisory Council. This organisation consists of leading companies of the sector and the most important German associations for all exhibit categories at the fair.
“Although supplier companies may not exhibit at Interpack itself under the fair’s eligibility criteria, they can now benefit from the unique exhibitor diversity of Interpack as the leading international fair”, said Bernd Jablonowski, director of the event.

Exhibitors will have information regarding products and services from their suppliers, as their respective stands will be only a short walk away, according to show organisers.
To make participation as easy as possible for exhibitors at “components for processing and packaging”, stands are being offered in complete packages comprising stand construction, furnishings and power consumption in sizes of 9, 12 and 18 square metres.
