Urschel Brings Expanded Produce Cutting Portfolio To Fruit Logistica 2026

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. will present six of its latest produce-cutting machines at Fruit Logistica, taking place in Berlin from 4–6 February 2026.
At booth C-30 in Hall 1.1, the US-based manufacturer will demonstrate a broad range of continuous cutting, slicing and dicing systems designed for commercial and industrial food processors. The machines on display include the TranSlicer® 2520 Cutter with short frame, the E TranSlicer® Cutter with built-in discharge conveyor, the DiversaCut 2110A® Dicer with built-in discharge conveyor, the Sprint 2® Dicer with discharge conveyor belt, the CCLL high-capacity lattice slicer, and the Comitrol® Disc Mill 380.
The TranSlicer® 2520 Cutter with short frame is positioned for processors seeking improved sanitation and flexibility in space-constrained production environments. Its compact configuration supports continuous operation with interchangeable stainless-steel cutting wheels and is designed to handle a wide variety of produce, including leafy vegetables, root crops and fruits.
Urschel will also exhibit the E TranSlicer® Cutter with a built-in discharge conveyor, intended for continuous slicing of firm and compressible products. The integrated conveyor supports batch processing into totes or onto platforms while keeping the machine at floor level for servicing and controlled product discharge.
For higher-capacity dicing applications, the DiversaCut 2110A® Dicer will be shown with a built-in discharge conveyor. Designed for continuous operation, the system delivers slices, dices, strips and shreds and accommodates large infeed product sizes, reducing the need for pre-cutting and associated labour.
The Sprint 2® Dicer with discharge conveyor belt will be demonstrated for 2- and 3-dimensional cutting. Adjustable cutting components allow processors to produce a range of dices, granulations and strips, with a compact cutting zone supporting consistent results and efficient product discharge.
Potato processors will also be able to view the CCLL high-capacity lattice slicer, which uses centrifugal force to produce interlaced crinkle cuts at approximately 90-degree angles. The system features a large cutting chamber and extended feed design aimed at increasing capacity, slice quality and yield.
Completing the line-up, the Comitrol® Disc Mill 380 will be presented for size reduction applications, including the production of nut butters and pastes. Its disc plate design and adjustable gap setting allow processors to control final texture in both small-batch and continuous operations.
Founded in 1910, Urschel Laboratories continues to focus on high-capacity precision cutting solutions for food processing and related industries. The company will use Fruit Logistica 2026 to highlight how its cutting technologies support efficiency, yield optimisation and flexible production across the fresh and processed produce sectors.
