Urschel And KRONEN To Showcase Processing Technologies At ProPak Philippines

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. will showcase a range of food processing solutions from both Urschel and KRONEN at ProPak Philippines, taking place from February 4–6, 2026, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
According to the company, the exhibition will feature several machines on the showroom floor, including the DiversaCut 2110A® Dicer, the Comitrol® Processor Model 1700, the KRONEN PL 40K Potato Peeler, the KRONEN GS 10-2 Slicer, and the KRONEN KS-100 PLUS Centrifuge/Dryer. Urschel will exhibit at Stand E21.
The DiversaCut 2110A® Dicer is described as a rugged, high-capacity machine designed for continuous operation and uninterrupted production. It delivers slices, dices, strips, and shreds at large-scale capacities, with a maximum infeed product size of 10 inches (254 mm) in any dimension, allowing processors to eliminate precutting and reduce waste.
Also on display, the Comitrol® Processor Model 1700 is positioned as the most versatile machine in the Comitrol line, offering high-capacity reduction options including comminuting, granulating, milling, flaking, slicing, liquefying, dispersing, and pureeing. The system uses 6-inch (152.4 mm) diameter reduction heads available in three styles, with multiple feed assemblies and discharge options. Urschel notes that an HMI option is available to identify misaligned sensors, soft start faults and fixes, total machine runtime, motor loads, overfeeding issues, and to enable remote start and stop when connected to a control center.
KRONEN equipment featured at ProPak Philippines will include the PL 40K Potato Peeler, a production-proven machine for washing and peeling potatoes, carrots, beetroot, cabbage turnips (kohlrabi), and other root vegetables in small and medium-sized production environments. The company states that the standard abrasive system enables paper-thin peel removal, with the full cycle of filling, peeling, and emptying taking approximately two to three minutes. The PL 40K can also be converted from peeling to washing by replacing the carborundum insert with a rubber-coated insert.
The KRONEN GS 10-2 Slicer will be presented as a multifunctional, belt-fed cutting machine capable of slicing, dicing, shredding, grating, and segmenting across a range of products. Product enters the machine on a 5-inch (125 mm) wide built-in flat conveyor, with cut thickness adjustable via keypad without changing the knife. Additional features highlighted include interchangeable cutting discs, a stainless-steel design separating the food and mechanical zones, and a compact footprint.
Rounding out the display, the KRONEN KS-100 PLUS Centrifuge/Dryer is described as a high-capacity spin-dryer designed to dry a wide variety of food items, including lettuce, cut fruit and vegetables, canned products, pickled foods, and caviar. The dryer offers 99 program memory locations and can operate as a standalone unit or be integrated into processing lines downstream of washing operations.
Urschel states that it “continues to be the global leader in developing and manufacturing of high-capacity precision cutting technology for food processing and related industries,” and notes that the company now offers KRONEN commercial and industrial processing systems in key international markets.
