CPS Introduces New Steel Belts for High-Performance Food Manufacturing

Continuous Process Solutions has expanded its offering to the food manufacturing industry with the introduction of two new high-performance steel belts from production partner Mingke, aimed at improving production efficiency, hygiene, and durability across a variety of applications.
The first innovation, Teflon-coated steel belts, is manufactured from high-carbon steel with a durable Teflon surface. Engineered for sticky or delicate products such as confectionery, doughs, and coated snacks, the belts deliver excellent corrosion resistance, low surface friction, and enhanced product release. Suitable for environments up to 260°C, they are designed for use in food production lines, heat press machines, and certain chemical applications.
“These belts are a game-changer for manufacturers handling adhesive or high-sugar content ingredients,” said Jarrod Hunt, Managing Director at Continuous Process Solutions. “They help prevent sticking, reduce downtime and support compliance with hygiene standards, saving both time and resources.”
Also new to the range is the CT1500 carbon steel belt, a premium-grade solution built to withstand extreme mechanical and thermal stress. With high fatigue resistance and excellent thermal conductivity, it is suited for high-temperature processes such as roasting and baking. Its hardness and high strength-to-thickness ratio make it suitable for continuous operations in demanding environments where precise tracking and resilience under thermal cycling are essential.
“Our customers in bakery, ready meals, pet food and snack production will benefit significantly from the CT1500’s robust performance and long service life,” Hunt added.
Both belt types are now available to customers in the UK and Ireland, with installation, servicing, and technical support provided by Continuous Process Solutions’ specialist team.
