Loma Systems Highlights X-Ray And Metal Detection Portfolio For Interpack 2026

Loma Systems will use Interpack 2026 to present a broad range of inspection technologies aimed at food, bakery and pharmaceutical manufacturers, with a portfolio spanning metal detection, X-ray inspection, checkweighing and combination systems.
The company said it will exhibit in Hall 11, Stand F73, where it plans to highlight technologies designed to support product safety, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Loma said its latest developments have been shaped through its Customer Best Innovation programme.
A central focus of the stand will be the company’s X-ray inspection range, led by the X5DE Space Saver. Loma said the system uses dual-energy technology to improve contaminant detection accuracy, reduce false rejects and deliver more precise imagery, while maintaining a compact footprint for manufacturers with limited line space.
The company will also feature the upgraded X5C, which it positions as an entry-level X-ray inspection system for retail-packaged convenience foods, ready meals and other small packaged goods. According to Loma, the enhanced version includes a larger widescreen interface, line speeds of up to 70 m/min, and faster cleaning through quick-release curtains and tool-free belt removal. In addition to contaminant detection, the system is also intended to support product integrity checks.
In metal detection, Loma will spotlight its IQ4M platform, which incorporates variable-frequency and multi-spectrum detection technologies to improve sensitivity across a wide range of applications. Among the systems on display will be the IQ4 RUN-WET conveyorised metal detector, designed for washdown environments and integration into high-care food production lines.
The company will also present the improved CW3 RUN-WET Combo, combining weighing and metal detection functions in a design intended for high-care environments. Loma said the system has been developed to improve cleanability while maintaining weighing precision and inspection performance.
Additional systems on the stand will include the IQ4 Vertical Fall for gravity-fed applications, the IQ4 Lock PH for pharmaceutical inspection requirements, and the IQ4M Pipeline for pumped products. Taken together, the line-up is intended to demonstrate the company’s ability to address different production formats and inspection requirements across multiple sectors.
Alongside its equipment portfolio, Loma will use the event to underline its wider support offering, including its global service network, research and development capabilities, and training resources. The company said it is continuing to expand its online training academy to give operators easier access to learning tools aimed at improving long-term system performance and reliability.
