MoistTech to Highlight Moisture Control Technology at EATS 2025

MoistTech Corp., a supplier of moisture measurement and control systems, will present its IR3000-F moisture sensor at the EATS 2025 exhibition in Chicago from 28–30 October. The company says the technology offers manufacturers greater accuracy in controlling moisture levels across food processing lines.
The IR3000-F uses near-infrared (NIR) technology to provide continuous, real-time analysis. According to MoistTech, integrating the sensor can support consistent product quality while reducing energy consumption and waste during processes such as drying and frying. Maintaining stable moisture content is seen as particularly important in potato processing, where it influences texture, yield, and shelf life.
Unlike some other solutions, the IR3000-F is factory-calibrated and does not require recalibration during operation, the company noted. It is also designed to function independently of variables such as product height, colour, or ambient conditions.
Visitors to booth #2437 will be able to see MoistTech’s equipment in operation at the show’s live production line, which this year focuses on pet food processing. The demonstration will integrate MoistTech sensors for real-time monitoring of shredded protein-based products.
