Vanmark’s New Vibratory Conveying Equipment Unveiled at ANUTEC

In collaboration with its sibling firm PFI, Vanmark recently unveiled a new vibratory conveying equipment. The machinery was constructed in Bengaluru, India, by the local Vanmark team, the first project in a new local capability and relationship between the two brands.
“Great collaboration between the PFI team here in the U.S. and the team at Vanmark India. Vanmark India continues to build on its capabilities and offering to serve our customers in that region better. Excited to see what’s next!” Jack Grote, sales manager, Vanmark Equipment wrote on his LinkedIn page.
The result is an integrated line of Vanmark and PFI equipment, with PFI conveyors linking the peelers and hydrocutting machines from Vanmark to the other processes on the line. Potato chips and vegetables are two of the main uses for this kind of machinery in the area.
“The collaboration between Vanmark India and PFI is an example of what’s to come, as working together allows us to offer more complete solutions to the local market. We were pleased to have this opportunity to showcase the new vibratory conveying equipment at the ANUTEC International FoodTec India event,” Veeresh Gowdru, general manager of Vanmark India, said.
The cost of the machines is greatly decreased by producing them in the Indian plant. It also speeds up production and delivery while removing customs and fees for the Southeast Asian market.
“The relationship between Vanmark and PFI under the Grote Company umbrella allows for this integration, which results in our ability to provide more complete solutions to support the core processes on our customers’ production lines. This is another exciting development for PFI, which also launched a new brand and website last month,” Bob Grote, chief executive officer of Grote Company, concluded.
