Potato Expo, the conference and trade show for the potato industry to take place in Austin, Texas, January 9-10, is now opening the registration for visitors.

Potato Expo 2019 will feature the popular Innovation Hub, along with networking events, industry thought leaders and over 180 exhibitors offering the latest business solutions and trends to help boost businesses in 2019 and beyond.

Potato Expo expects more than 1,800 professionals, over 180 exhibitors offering business solutions and innovations and events related to consumer trends, production, food safety, marketing, labor and more.

Spud Nation Throwdown

The fourth annual Spud Nation Throwdown will focus on potatoes. Local chefs from around the city will compete to see who takes the title of “Top Spud.” New at the next edition, the Throwdown will be hosted by world renowned broadcaster, author and TV personality Simon Majumdar.

Chefs competing in 2019 are: Chef Brian Moses, Executive Chef, Olive & June; Chef Emma Sanchez, Chef De Cuisine, Eden East; and Chef Terry Conlan, former executive Chef, Lake Austin Spa Resort.
