AVR Machinery To Be Auctioned For Charity

Last year, AVR launched a new brand to actively take control of the used machinery market: AVR Green Select. The first AVR Green Select Days were organized to put the launch of this new brand in the spotlight. It was the perfect opportunity for customers to discover the range of used machines.
AVR is once again welcoming all interested parties on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6, with a special twist: on Saturday evening, some of the machines on offer will be auctioned off for charity. Following a successful first edition that saw a more than 50% rise in sales of used machines.
The AVR Green Select Center opens concurrently with the second AVR Green Select Days event. This second edition will be held in the same location—close to the Roeselare headquarters of the company—which will now function as the primary hub for used machinery.
Customers can explore the selection of used machines at enticing sale pricing during the event. A charity auction will take place at the end of the two-day event. Naturally, there will also be some drinks available.
“What characterizes AVR is that as a family business, we remain a warm and approachable player despite our growth. Being close to our customers and dealers is part of our identity. We believe it is the key to our continued success and sustainable growth,” Sales & Marketing Director, Maarten De Smet, said.
AVR Green Select Manager, Stein Rommelaere, added that during the AVR Green Select Days, he and his colleagues will combine what is useful and what is meaningful at an auction of used machines.
“We will donate the proceeds to charity. An AVR machine on the market, a satisfied customer, and a donation to charity: win-win-win,” Rommelaere also mentioned.
From 4 PM onwards, people can bid on second-hand machines at very attractive prices. And if they buy a machine live at auction, they don’t pay any auction fees.
AVR and auction house Auctim will donate the proceeds and auction fees to the Warmest Week charity event.
“This year, the event is dedicated to the fight against loneliness, an issue that is unfortunately also very topical in the agricultural sector, so we are happy to do our bit to help,” Stein concluded.
