Chinese-Pakistani Potato Starch Plant Construction MoU Was Recently Signed
Leading businesses from China and Pakistan, Henan Ruzhou Ideal Starch and KASB Corporation of Pakistan, inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to build a cutting-edge potato starch facility in Pakistan, marking a significant step towards deepening economic ties between the two nations.
Through this strategic alliance, the region’s plentiful potato resources will be utilized to meet the increasing demand for this adaptable crop, The Nation announced.
By utilizing the technological know-how and proficiency of the Chinese partners, this Memorandum of Understanding will guarantee the effective and long-term manufacturing of superior potato starch. According to the China Economic Net (CEN), this project is anticipated to support Pakistan’s agriculture industry as well as the region’s general economic growth. Memorandums of understanding will give both sides a new way to work together on project management, technology transfer, information sharing, capacity building, and investment promotion in the processed goods and agriculture industries.
The MoU further states that both parties would fully exploit their years of expertise in agriculture and processed products, as well as the present favorable bilateral business climate between China and Pakistan, to commit to the project’s landing in Pakistan. Henan Ruzhou Ideal Starch and the KASB Corporation of Pakistan will collaborate to create the first successful potato deep processing project between China and Pakistan.
