Kronen – a global supplier of machines and systems serving the food industry including the potato industry – has been a partner of Netherlands-based GKS Packaging for over 15 years. The Kronen machines are completed by the solutions of its specialized technology partners.

The two have been collaborating to supply packaging equipment and now Kronen has announced it has sold the 1,000^th GSK Packaging machine. To celebrate this milestone, GKS’s owner and CEO, Ivo Geukes has presented an award to Kronen’s Stephan Zillgith during Fruit Logistica 2019 last month.

The German processing equipment manufacturer sold its 1,000^th GSK packaging machine – the UP 350 vertical form-, fill- and sealing machine – though SEDA Freund AG, which is official Kronen representative in Switzerland. The order was delivered to Guggisberg AGRO AG., which specializing in the processing of vegetables and fruit.
