Novidon Dutch Potato Starch Producer and Two Sister Companies Under One Duynie Group Brand
Together with Duynie Feed and Duynie Ingredients, Novidon, a sustainable Dutch producer of native and modified potato starch, has formed the Duynie Group, the largest company in Europe engaged in the value-adding of co-products released during the manufacturing and processing of food, drink, and biofuel products.
“As of October 1, 2024, there will be one Duynie brand. To further support our co-product partners and customers in achieving ambitious sustainability goals, this unified brand exceeds the sum of its parts. The new Duynie brand combines the expertise and positive impact of known Duynie entities in the sectors of agriculture (Duynie Feed), food and pet food (Duynie Ingredients), and technical appliances (Novidon). Sustainable energy remains very important and in this sector, we will retain our name AgriBioSource,” according to a recent company announcement.
“Under a unified brand Duynie, we will be in an even better position to play a pivotal role in supporting companies in agri-food towards circularity and enhanced sustainability. The transition towards one Duynie brand allows us, with our supply-driven business model, to add maximum value to co-products coming from the production of the food, beverages, and biofuel sectors,” Jonathan Job, CEO of Duynie Group, declared.
Businesses in the food, pet food, and technology industries are trying to find methods to lessen their impact on the environment. The Ingredients section of Duynie meets the growing demand for circular and sustainable ingredients made from co-products. Simultaneously, Duynie’s Feed Division keeps providing farmers and feed producers with sustainable feed solutions.
Improved sustainability and circularity are mandated by law as well as business. The stakes are high for clients in the food, pet food, feed, technical, and energy markets who view closing loops as a way to lessen their environmental impact, as well as for producers of co-products in the food, beverage, and biofuel sectors. With this new, cohesive brand identity, Duynie supports the goals of all parties involved in the agri-food sector.
