Elea Technology celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Quakenbrück, Germany, with a two-day event on June 18 and 19. Representatives from science, industry, and politics gathered to mark this important milestone. The celebrations will culminate in a public open house on June 21, inviting local residents and visitors to explore the facility and discover Elea’s innovative Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology.

On the first day of the event, June 18, around 130 guests attended. Among the distinguished guests were Michael Bürgel (Mayor of the Artland Municipal Association), Lutz Brinkmann (Member of the German Bundestag), Peter Vahrenkamp (Managing Director of WIGOS and representative of District Administrator Anna Kebschull), Prof. Dr. Henry Jäger (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna), Dr. Reinhold Kassing (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DIL e. V.), as well as the founders and shareholders of the Elea Group: Dr. Volker Heinz and Prof. Dr. Stefan Töpfl. Following inspiring speeches, the team guided guests on tours through the new building, before the evening concluded with a relaxed dinner.

The second day was dedicated to “Discover PEF,” offering scientific insights into a technology where Elea is recognized as a global leader. After an introduction by CEO Stefan Töpfl, live demonstrations showcased the technology, including the innovative PiCon project, which uses AI-based acoustic signals for quality control. Following lunch, the “PEF R&D and User Panel” featuring Alica Lammerskitten (Co-CEO of Frudist), Prof. Dr. Roman Buckow (Professor at La Trobe University, Melbourne), and Sveva Cesari (Food Technologist at Elea Technology) provided fascinating insights into practical applications of PEF technology.

On Saturday, June 21, Elea Technology invited families, neighbors, and all interested parties to an open house from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to tour the new headquarters and experience PEF technology in an engaging, family-friendly setting.
