Wyma Brings Mixed Reality Post-Harvest Processing to Life at Fruit Logistica 2026

Wyma will use immersive mixed reality technology to present its post-harvest processing solutions at Fruit Logistica 2026, offering visitors a new way to explore complete processing lines without the constraints of physical machinery or static layouts.
The New Zealand–headquartered post-harvest specialist will be exhibiting in Hall 2.1, Stand D-41, where it has designed a stand centred on discussion, visualisation and early-stage project development rather than traditional equipment displays.
At the core of the presentation is a mixed reality experience that allows visitors to step inside full post-harvest processing lines at true-to-life scale. Through the immersive environment, users can follow product flow from infeed through washing, grading and outfeed, gaining a clear view of how individual systems integrate into a complete line.
The experience has been developed in collaboration with Fracture Reality, whose extended reality platform enables complex industrial environments to be visualised directly on the exhibition stand. Wyma says the approach is intended to help customers better understand layout, line flow and system integration across different crops, capacities and facility designs, particularly at the early planning stage of new investments or upgrades.
Alongside the technology showcase, Wyma has reconfigured its stand layout to prioritise face-to-face engagement. Instead of a dense, equipment-led display, the space features informal seating areas, a private meeting room for confidential discussions and a dedicated barista service throughout the show. The company says the aim is to create a calmer environment that supports more productive technical and commercial conversations.
Members of Wyma’s sales, engineering and project teams will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss new processing projects, line expansions, automation strategies and the evolution of existing installations. The company positions the mixed reality experience as a practical tool to support these discussions, helping customers visualise future developments and assess options with greater clarity.
Fruit Logistica remains a key annual meeting point for the global fresh produce industry, and Wyma’s 2026 presence reflects a broader shift among equipment suppliers toward digital tools that support planning, communication and investment decision-making.
Wyma can be found at Hall 2.1, Stand D-41 during Fruit Logistica 2026 in Berlin.
