Celebrating Taste With Hot Honey Mango DoughnUTZ

Two well-known companies, Utz and Mike’s Hot Honey, have partnered with Dough Doughnuts to produce the surprise summer doughnut that is sure to get New York City buzzing in honor of National Honeybee Day and National Potato Day.
The unique Hot Honey Mango DoughnUTZ, created with Dough’s artisan expertise, includes a delectable hot honey mango glaze, crushed Utz Mike’s Hot Honey Potato Chips, and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey. A whipped, cream cheese-covered doughnut hole and a hot, crunchy honey chip complete the sweet-heat experience.
“People have been loving our Utz Mike’s Hot Honey Potato Chips, and this fun collaboration with Dough offers us a whole new way to share a new favorite flavor. It also allows us to work with another company that – like Mike’s – shares our bond with New York and our search for craveable tastes,” Utz Brands, Inc. VP, of Brand Marketing, Korlin Serauskis, said.
The CEO of Mike’s Hot Honey, Matt Beaton, stated that his company is thrilled to collaborate on this unique summer delicacy with their colleagues at Utz, who also have a deep east coast history, and another fantastic Brooklyn brand, Dough.
“When it comes to flavor combinations, few tastes pair better than sweet and salty with a touch of heat and now Dough’s has brought this to a whole new level,” Beaton added.
The Utz Mike’s Hot Honey potato chips that the two companies introduced in May are expanded upon in the new Hot Honey Mango DoughnUTZ. The chip flavor was recently added to Utz’s permanent selection despite being initially intended to be a limited-time release because of its popularity.
According to Steve Klein, owner of Dough Doughnuts, the demand for this most recent doughnut innovation will be out of this world. He is also thrilled to be working with like-minded, east coast-focused firms.
“Our staff has truly outdone itself this time with this one-of-kind recipe, and we’re expecting hungry New Yorkers to be delighted by this tantalizing flavor profile,” Klein mentioned.
Beginning on August 19 and for a brief period only, the new Hot Honey Mango DoughnUTZ will be offered at the following Dough Doughnuts locations: Flatiron (14 W 19th St.), Brooklyn (646 Vanderbilt Ave.), Astoria (21-70 31st St.), Rockefeller Center (10 Rockefeller Center), Urbanspace Vanderbilt (230 Park Ave.), and Time Out Market (55 Water Street, Brooklyn).
In addition, each outlet will give away a bag of Utz Mike’s Hot Honey Chips and a bottle of Mike’s Hot Honey with the first 50 transactions.
