Idaho Potatoes Score Holiday Promotion

The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) and Litehouse have partnered up for a new promotion for the 2019 holiday season. Called “Mix, Mash & Be Merry”, it will run between November 1 and December 31.
The campaign entails installing freestanding display units with coupon pads in participating stores. A coupon offers shoppers USD1 off any Litehouse freeze-dried herb with the purchase of a 5-pound bag of Idaho potatoes.
“With the strong market penetration for both Idaho potatoes and Litehouse herbs, we anticipate that this will be an exceptional sales driver for retailers. It’s the ideal launch platform for the new crop of Idaho potatoes this fall and a great incentive for shoppers to purchase 5-pound bags during the upcoming holiday season,” said Seth Pemsler, vice president of retail and international for IPC.
Established in 1937, the IPC is a state agency responsible for promoting and protecting the “Grown in Idaho” seal, a federally registered certification mark that assures customers are purchasing genuine Idaho potatoes.
