Lower Salt Potato Chips That Include Grains from Kellogg’s Pringles

Kellogg’s has created a new potato chip line, Pringles Multigrain, in response to consumer demand for lower salt, grain-containing snacks. The new chips are lower in salt and made with fiber and grains like wheat and barley.
The company’s representatives recently said that Kellogg’s food developers had tried many different recipes before settling on the final result, which used “more herbs and spices and natural flavors to replace some of the salt while keeping the same great taste of Pringles that people love”.
The new Pringles Multigrain will be available in three flavors: Sour Cream & Chilli, BBQ Sauce Flavor, and Roast Chicken & Rosemary, in addition to the 13 other varieties already available in the UK.
“Kellogg’s is committed to developing foods that are better for people and provide more choice. We know that many adults want snack brands to offer more healthy options but still want them to taste great. That’s why we developed the Pringles Multigrain range,” Chris Silcock, Kellogg’s UK managing director said, cited by specialized online media.
The move is part of Kellogg’s decade-long Wellbeing Plan, announced in 2021, that pledged to improve its foods and packaging so that they are better for people, the community, and the planet.
