Pringles Brings the Virtual World of Minecraft Into Reality

The first cooperation between Pringles and Minecraft introduces a previously untried taste of Minecraft to snacking: ‘Pringles Minecraft Suspicious Stew.’
The Pringles flavor experts are bringing the famous stew to life by combining the tantalizing flavor of shady stew into a piece of potato chip for a flavor experience likely to please both Pringles fans and Minecraft gamers.
“Minecraft is beloved by a community of millions, many of which are Pringles fans, so we delivered a tasting experience fans could previously only imagine – the famous suspicious stew. We challenged ourselves to bring the flavor of suspicious stew and its ingredients to chip-form, creating a flavor experience so delicious that both Minecraft players and non-players will reach for more,” Mauricio Jenkins, US marketing lead for Pringles said.
For those who are unfamiliar with the world of Minecraft, the suspicious stew is a fictional food item that, depending on the flower used to make it, grants players a status effect (think: Jump Boost, Night Vision, and more!). Even if eating Pringles Minecraft Suspicious Stew won’t give customers night vision in real life, it will undoubtedly cause “flavor overload” on their palates!
Additionally, fans will earn 350 Minecoins to spend in-game if they purchase any Pringles can or any Kellogg’s product between now and July 31 and upload their receipts to KelloggMinecraftPromo.com. Fans may also participate in the “Build for Better” competition, a Minecraft building competition, where they can submit ideas for play areas to spur the construction of actual playgrounds and realize their imaginative Minecraft worlds.
