Review: Over 750 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors at Indagra

New machines, new packaging technology and innovation presentations: over 750 companies showcased their products and machinery at Indagra, a 3 per cent increase in exhibitors at one of the biggest agricultural events in Romania, which took place in Bucharest, October 29 – November 2, 2014.
The International Trade Fair of Equipment and Products in Agriculture, Horticulture, Viticulture and Animal Husbandry (Indagra) was organized by Romexpo in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Romania, under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture. Concurrent with Indragra, Romexpo organized other four complementary trade fairs: Indagra Food, Al-Pack, Expo Drink & Wine and Autoexpotehnica. Indagra set new records last year: 453 exhibiting companies attended from 23 countries, on an exhibition area of 32,000 square meters and 60,000 visitors. 
Industry equipment and innovations showcased at the trade fair included agricultural tools, irrigation equipment, transport for agriculture, agricultural fertilizers, greenhouses and solariums, seedling materials and seeds.
Exhibitors from 28 countries included companies like Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, The Republic of Korea, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Great Britain, The Republic of Moldova, Holland, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Span, Taiwan, Turkish, Ukraine, and Hungary.

The exhibitions attracted 60,179 visitors on area 42,000 square meters.
“We are happy and acknowledge an increasing responsibility that Indagra is growing from year to year. The fact that we bring to the public an event of such amplitude for the national economy is proof that the Romanian agriculture is a domain to be further sustained and developed in the future,” said Catalin Trifu, general director at Romexpo.
