AVR Unveils Spirit 9200i VW with Varioweb Cleaning System

AVR has launched the Spirit 9200i VW, expanding on the Spirit 9200i introduced in 2024 with the addition of its patented Varioweb cleaning system.
The Belgian manufacturer said the new model combines “all the strengths of AVR’s most recent trailed harvester, completed with the patented Varioweb cleaning system.” According to AVR, the system “enables flexible cleaning for the most challenging harvesting conditions.”
The Spirit 9200i VW will make its first public appearance in a fully operational demonstration set-up at the Potato Europe trade fair on 3 and 4 September in Lelystad, the Netherlands.
The machine is ISOBUS-compatible, allowing configuration via an ISOBUS-compatible display. AVR offers a Müller Touch800 or Smart570 screen for this purpose, while an ergonomic AVR joystick comes as standard. “Clear icons and intuitive menus, supplemented by the automatic functions of the machine, all serve to optimize the user-friendliness of the Spirit 9200i VW,” the company stated.
The Varioweb cleaning module combines a pintle belt and axial rollers, with adjustment possible from the tractor cabin. AVR highlighted that operators can set cleaning from “100% when intensive cleaning is required to fully removing the axial rollers from the product flow when hardly any cleaning is required.” The pintle belt’s position is measured and displayed on the tractor screen, and settings can be saved and recalled via presets.

Haulm separation: sieving and haulm webs with adjustable retainers to optimize separation capacity.

Bunker: an 8.5-ton bunker with a maximum unloading height of 4.20m. A Clean & Go option allows buffering, added sieving capacity and unloading while driving.

Traction: optional hydrostatic wheel drive with 120 hp traction capacity.

Connectivity: AVR Connect for remote monitoring, data logging and diagnostics.

Quick-change digging unit: enabling harvesting of multiple crops.

Hydraulic drive: four separate pumps for full control of harvesting.
The company added that the prototype underwent extensive testing in 2024, receiving “plenty of positive feedback,” and a limited pre-production series was launched in 2025.
