Pringles March Mustache Collection is Just in Time for the NCAA Championship

The U.S. men’s NCAA championship takes place in March, but it’s not just basketball courts that have been turned into runways for wildly imaginative facial hair. The mascot for Pringles, Mr. P, has been known to sport a world-class mustache for decades and is no novice to this occurrence.
For this reason, Pringles is celebrating a complete court of sensational mustaches with the new, limited-edition “Pringles March Mustache Collection” just in time for the NCAA Basketball Tournament, switching the focus from hoops to facial hair.
The limited-edition can collection depicts collegiate basketball players with some of the best-fuzzed faces in the game, including Mr. P., Ben Vander Plas from UVA, Dariq Whitehead from Duke, and Drew Timme from Gonzaga. The collection includes our classic, fan-favorite varieties like Pringles Original, Cheddar Cheese, BBQ, and Sour Cream and Onion and pays homage to each player’s distinctive and top mustache, including The Pringle, the horseshoe, the pencil, and the caterpillar.
“My mustache has always been part of my identity and it’s amazing to see the facial fuzz trend catch the attention of one of the most beloved ‘stache’d sporting brands, Pringles. I’m pumped to be featured on these new cans with some of my favorites ‘stache’d opponents – game on fellas,” Drew Timme, Gonzaga University forward, declared.
Pringles is urging fans to show off their mustaches for a chance to win a supply of the Pringles March Mustache Collection to spread the affection for facial hair. Fans can enter to win the Pringles March Mustache Collection starting at 8:00 AM ET on March 15 and continuing through 8:00 AM ET on April 4 by posting a photo of their tournament-inspired mustache on Instagram with the hashtag #PringlesMarchMustacheEntry.
“Pringles has a deep bench of ingenious flavors and ‘staches of all flavors are having a moment on college basketball courts. We’re thrilled to celebrate the sensational players whose unique ‘stache flavor has captured the hearts of fans everywhere and give fans nationwide a chance to join in the ‘stache fun’,” Mauricio Jenkins, Pringles US marketing lead, concluded.
